“A” Players

Make sure you’re an “A” Player in life, in your own right. Want to level up your life further? Surround yourself with “A” Players. I have spent part of my life with “B”, “S” and “Z” Players (hoping things will change) whilst realising I was actually burning myself out by trying to raise the standards of everyone else. Life then, was progressing slowly.

“I noticed that the dynamic range between what an average person could accomplish and what the best person could accomplish was 50 or 100 to 1.

Given that, you’re well advised to go after the cream of the cream … A small team of A+ players can run circles around a giant team of B and C players.

– Steve Jobs

Once I understood the depth of what Mr Jobs was saying and what others were advising me. I politely focussed on what I wanted to achieve in my life and surrounded myself with people with similar ambitions, attitudes and work ethics. I started leveling up faster. The wrong people slow you down, the right people speed things up. Spend more time with the right people.

You can observe this in sports, or any field, you want to play and train with the best (find individuals who are better than yourself). That’s how you’re going to level up faster. This applies, to all areas in life, business, trading, investing etc.

As the saying goes:

“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”

– Jim Rohn

I would go even further than that and say, with all the people you spend your time with. Use it wisely. Our time here is finite.

Make yourself proud. Make an impact in life.

Player One.
