I almost forgot about this quote… I think I read this some where back around 10 years ago, when I used to be on FB. (HA, those were the days.) I popped into my head randomly a couple weeks ago, and I thought to myself how could I forget this quote! It’s one of the best, I wanted to use it as a reading in a family member’s wedding but wasn’t allowed. I guess it wasn’t that good? I do though really believe it rings true.
If we take care of ourselves first, our spirits, our hearts, we can be strong alone. But when you find someone who adds to your life in a way you can’t, and makes you a better person, you become an invincible couple. Two strong, alive people inspiring each other daily. That’s the ticket.
Apparently the internet tells me the quote is by the actress “Lindsay Price”.
I would also like to add to the Love Filter. Well it’s not really an add or is it? The 3 components I wrote are solid for any couple. If you are going to have kids, you really have to think about the influence of family & in-laws. That’s if you care how your kids turn out or how involved you want to be with your kids. Maybe I’ll expand on it later.
Anyways, I digress. I am so happy I re-discovered the ticket quote again.
